Ronaldo

Ronaldo was born in Bento Ribeiro. As most of his friends he also started playing football in the street nearby to his neighborhood. Ronaldo was born on September 18 but officially he had been registered as if he was not born on 18th September instead his father had registered him that he was born on 22nd September in his birth certificate. From the very childhood he use to play much better than most of his friends but his football abilities had been recognized when he was just fourteen years old. He was been recommended to the Brazil youth team by one of the top most player of Brazil who had enabled Brazil to won the world cup he was non other than Jairzinho who was also having his own football club and so he signed him to play for his club, Cruzeiro Esporte Club.

He had been always in the news for his injuries. He was to get admitted for two of his
serious injuries in the early 2001 and so after twenty months of rehabilitation again the one
and only Ronaldo was back on track for playing football for Brazil for the 2002 world cup
and had played a leading role for the Brazil team to won the World cup all total
the fifth world cup title for Brazil. However later on in the year 2002 he won the best football
player of the world and that too for the third time in the football history.
